Check-In will open 30 minutes before the start of the session you have decided to attend.
To allow for an easy and fast check-in experience, please bring the QR code (either printed or shown on your phone) you will have received in the confirmation email you should have received after registering.
Event Check-In will open 30 minutes prior to your selected session time.

Spectators are permitted and there is no charge for entering the event area as a spectator. Spectators will be restricted to certain areas of the event area, please ensure you obey all signage and staff.
If you are a spectator on the day and decide you want to slide, there will be sliding passes available on the day
Event parking will be available on-site. There will be a charge of $10 (cash only) to park in the event parking area. The fee is charged to cover the cost of facilitating our car parking area, with any profits being donated to our national and/or local charity partner(s). More information on our charity partners can be made available by visiting the check-in desk on event day.
We have employed a traffic management company to ensure the smooth operation of car parking and car movements, please follow and obey all of their instructions and signage.
(Pre-registration and on-the-day registrations) On the day registrations (sliding passes), will be available (subject to availability). Please enquire about this at our On-Day Registration Desk.
It is strongly advised you secure your ticket online to ensure you are guaranteed a sliding pass on the day and for the session of your choice. We cannot guarantee there will be sliding pass’s available for purchase on the day.
The event will have a Bag Drop facility. This is a service where you can drop your bag for a fee and we can mind it for you while you slide.
Please look for “Bag Drop” signs once you have entered the event area, through the check-in zone. There will be a fee for this service of $5 per bag. This fee is charged to cover the costs of facilitating a bag drop service, with any profits made from fees being donated to our local and/or national charity partners.
Slideapalooza have employed a comprehensive medical team to be on-site throughout the entire duration of the event. The medical team will be on call and ready to go at a moment's notice in an unlikely event of an injury.
Although we have designed our slide to be as safe as it can possibly be and have taken numerous precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, it is still your own responsibility to ensure you are acting and/or sliding in a manner that does not put yourself or others at risk of an injury.
If you do require first-aid at the event, please look for our first-aid marquee’s or look for the closest staff member and/or volunteer, they will be able to radio into the team and get them to you ASAP.
Merchandise will be available for purchase on the day. Some of our merchandise items include: towels, t-shirts, hats and bags. Cash and Card facilities are available for payment.
Sun Safety: Please ensure you bring sunscreen and other various sun protective gear to ensure you safe in the sun
Shade: There will be various areas of shade on site for our participants to take refuge under. If you wish to bring your own shade, you can.
Pool Toys on Slide: We do encourage everyone to bring any sort of pool/beach toys that they would like to slide with (inflatable pool toys only). Inflatable pool toys will also be available for purchase on the day
Food/Drink and Alcohol: There will be food vendors on site and they all will be supplying food for your to purchase. There will also be plenty of drinks to buy.
There will be a bar available, however the bar area is strictly prohibited for any person under the age of 18.
Outside food and drink is permitted, however please ensure you dispose of all your rubbish in the appropriate bins around the event area.
Change Rooms: There will be limited changing room facilities available. The change rooms are not a private room, they are semi-private areas where you can get quickly and briefly changed.
Showers: There are no showers on site
Pool Safety: Before undertaking in sliding, it is important you understand that any water based activity can be dangerous. It is advised that only people that can swim undertake in sliding. If you are unable to swim, it is advised you do not take part in sliding OR an external floatation device to be worn at all times on the slide. Lifeguards will be patrolling our pools to ensure our participants safety. If you are an adult guardian bringing a minor to the event, you are ultimately responsible for the minor's safety, not just in and around the pool but also at the event in general.
How do we get back to the top of the hill?: Getting back to the top of the 400m hill you have just slide down will be via foot. If you find the ground is a little rough for walking barefoot on, we have water slide ready shoes available for purchase at our merchandise tent.
