A. You can wear whatever you’d like, except no shoes, jeans or clothing with buckles, badges or anything that could rip a slide especially jewellery. Surf and swimwear do make for faster sliding and remember, be tasteful though there may be kids around!

A. Rain will mean better sliding and less water usage, so it’s all good and business as usual for the slides. Entertainment may be affected depending on the amount of rain, which we will keep everyone informed via the event Facebook Page.
A. All tickets to Slideapalooza are nonrefundable unless we change the event date in which you will have a period of time to claim a refund. If you can no longer make it to your event, you can transfer your ticket to a friend, which is free online up until a week before the event (LINK). Anything after this will have to be done at the event which incurs a $15 fee.
A. You can still come watch, sessions without live entertainment are free for spectators. Sessions with entertainment you can purchase a non slider ticket and join in the fun while staying dry.

A. Nope, non sliders are free to enter, but will not be allowed in the restricted slider only zones which require a participant wristband to enter.
A. All you need is yourself in some slide worthy clothing, your confirmation email, your ID a towel and change of clothes and we will do the rest.
A. There will be a bag drop at the venue run by some awesome local charity which will cost you $2.
A. Depends on the gradient of the hill we set up and the size of the slide. Our aim to to have you at a constant speed where you smile all the way down.
A. Be aware that we are talking long slides and long walk up hills to get sliding. Yes we have precautions in place but like any outdoor activity there is a small chance of injury.

A. On the family days we will have kid only slides for them to slide without fear of the big kids. And of course they can take on any of the slides that they are tall enough to slide, and they can slide with mum or dad if that makes them feel safer.
A. We recommend turning up with enough time to park, check in and then find the coffee van and check out the awesomeness that awaits you … so usually around an hour before slide time …. Participants emails the week of the event will prepare you for any things that may shorten or increase this recommended arrival time.
A. Depending on your venue and location there will be parking, we always try to provide parking (at a fee) for convenience, if not it will be street parking and public transport.
A. We will employ some awesome photographers to take snaps of your fun on the slides which we will have available to purchase unless your event sells out … then it FREE PHOTO’S!!!

A. Slideapalooza is a for profit event run by Fun Events Pty Ltd, but we work with national and local charities to use the Fun to FUNdraise as much as possible.
